The NSW Legislative Council General Purpose Standing Committee No 4 has commenced an Inquiry into the safety and efficacy of cannabis for medical purposes. The Committee will examine if, and how, cannabis should be supplied for medical use, the legal implications of cannabis use for medical purposes, as well as any other related issues. full story

The Oregon Cannabis Tax Act 2012 is a citizen’s initiative campaign to regulate cannabis and restore industrial hemp. The goal is to protect Oregon’s children and increase public safety by creating a series of regulations around the growth and sale of cannabis and industrial hemp.
